Who we are

BoddyFit is provided by Bodkin Interactive (bodkininteractive.com). This policy describes how the Android app handles information on your device.

No cloud account

BoddyFit does not require a Bodkin Interactive account. Coaching data is not uploaded to our servers for training or analytics in the current release.

Data we store on your device

Training plans, workouts, runs, preferences, reminder settings, imported activity summaries, and related coaching data are stored locally on your device (app storage / IndexedDB). BoddyFit is designed to work offline-first.

Health Connect permissions

On Android, you may grant BoddyFit permission to read workout data from Health Connect (for example exercise sessions, distance, heart rate, speed, steps, calories, and power when available). We use these permissions only to import and display your activities in the app and to help match them to your plan. We do not request GPS exercise routes for map display.

You control these grants in Android Settings / Health Connect. Revoking permission stops new imports; previously imported local copies remain until you delete them or clear app data.

Notifications

Optional daily training reminders use local notifications on your device. You can enable or disable them in Settings. Notification permission is used only for those reminders.

FIT export & sharing

If you export planned runs as Garmin .fit files, those files are created on your device for your own watch workflow. Sharing them uses your device’s share sheet or file tools — BoddyFit does not upload those files to Bodkin Interactive.

Analytics & advertising

BoddyFit does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell your personal training data. If this changes in a future version, we will update this policy and the in-app effective date.

Retention & how to delete your data

Because there is no cloud account, deleting data is done on the device:

  • Delete content inside the app where that option is available.
  • Clear BoddyFit storage in Android Settings → Apps → BoddyFit → Storage.
  • Uninstall the app (removes local app data from that device).

If you previously granted Health Connect access, also revoke BoddyFit in Health Connect permissions if you no longer want imports.

Children

BoddyFit is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and the Play Store listing targets users 18+. Do not use the app if you are below the minimum age required in your region without appropriate guardian supervision where allowed by law.

Third parties

Garmin Connect, Google, Android, Health Connect, YouTube (embedded coaching videos), and similar services are separate products. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. BoddyFit only receives Health Connect data those systems expose to apps you have authorized.

Garmin, Garmin Connect, Google, Android, and Health Connect are trademarks of their respective owners. BoddyFit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin Ltd. or Google LLC.

Your choices

You may revoke Health Connect permissions, disable reminders, clear app storage, or uninstall at any time. Related: Terms of use · Copyright & legal · Support.
